Saints were sinners before they became saints

Sometimes we hold ourselves back from being the people God created us to be. But in every instance  of today’s readings there are changes that happen. Isaiah changed, Paul changed and Peter and the other apostles changed. We too could look at who God is, who Jesus is in our lives and become the holy saints we are called to be. I’m reminded of that hopeful saying, 

“Saints were sinners before they became saints.” ~ Fr. Tom
