We asked former pastor Nathan Byrd to tell us about Christ United Presbyterian Church, San Diego.
"We are a Christian church. We are mainline Presbyterian. I lead this
congregation in a time of protests, politics, and a pandemic. All of
this in the midst of huge cultural shifts in what it means to be a
church.
What sets us apart is our ability to hold on to and maintain
meaningful parts of tradition while remaining relevant and modern. We
like to say that we are keeping it real in liturgy, life, and faith."
