Former Anglican Bishop of Chester in Scotland Converts to Catholicism

A former Anglican bishop is now a member of the Catholic Church. Peter Forster, the former Anglican Bishop of Chester, was received into the Catholic Church in Scotland last year. In the past year, he is the 4th Church of England clergy member to become Catholic. Europe Editor of Catholic News Agency, Luke Coppen, joins to discuss what is drawing former Anglican leaders to the Catholic faith and whether he expects it to continue. There are new developments regarding the Latin Mass in the Archdiocese of Westminster in London. Coppen tells us more about that. Turning to other news, Sunday kicked off Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years on the throne. Coppen shares the significance of it and what festivities are taking place. He also talks about what is happening at 10 Downing Street and the so-called Partygate Scandal. Coppen fills us in on how the scandal has affected Prime Minister Johnson and the political landscape in the UK, including how it has impacted COVID policies.
