St. Luke's North Park invites you to Holy Week 2018

Blessings to you as Holy Week arrives! We hope you'll join us for these chances to pray, grow, and celebrate together:

Palm Sunday/ Passion Sunday: Our palm frond-waving procession will begin at 11:15 in the space next to the garden this Sunday (just north of the purple doors), and then we'll return to the sanctuary for our remembrance of Jesus' passion on behalf of the world.

Maundy Thursday Community Dinner: Next Thursday, March 29 at 6 p.m. we will enjoy an agape potluck with our brothers and sisters from Genesis church, those in our many associated recovery groups, and those experiencing homelessness made known to us through Uptown Community Services. We especially remember Jesus' call to "love one another" on this night (foot-washing stations optional).

Good Friday: Next Friday, March 30 at 6 p.m.: a simple Stations of the Cross remembrance inside the sanctuary.

Easter Sunday: Next Sunday, April 1 at 7:45 and 11:15 we will celebrate Jesus' resurrection with fanfare and feasting! Bring some drinks, dessert, or side salad to share for the potluck after if you can.
This week we're holding two information sessions for Down No More, a mentoring program for those making the transition from incarceration to life outside the prison gates. If you or someone you know would be interested in learning more about the power of friendship in this difficult transition back into the workaday world, join us at St Lukes TONIGHT (Wed) , 6:30-8 p.m. OR this Saturday, Mar 24, 9-10:30 a.m.

And save the date for the RefugeeNet Gala on Saturday, May 12 from 6-9 pm!

Every blessing to you during this holiest of weeks, Laurel and Colin
