Dr. Webster is professor of pastoral theology and preaching at Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, AL. Prior to joining the faculty at Beeson, Doug was the senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church in downtown San Diego.

Praying the Psalms gives voice to our deepest yearnings in a way that teaches us how to pray the way Jesus prayed. The Psalms are not only our words to God but God’s inspired word to us, so we can expect the Psalms to correspond not only to our life experiences but to the life of Jesus Christ.
Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to stretch our praying imagination while learning from Jesus' Prayer Book how to listen and express ourselves to God.

If you want to attend please register on Facebook or by emailing Kennerly King at kking@cpcsd.org.  A light breakfast will be served.
