Friday, April 8 - Join us for Graduation
This is when the men and women who have successfully completed their 12-month residential recovery programs are recognized in a special graduation ceremony. As part of the ceremony one male and one female graduate each shares their story of recovery. A local Christian band or church choir provides entertainment for the day and, of course, all graduates receive an official diploma.

Social Hour & Reception

This special evening will honor all the dedicated volunteers who serve our residents. It is to celebrate how you are part of changing lives at the Mission!  Please help spread the word to those who volunteer with your group.

Come and engage with new friends who also volunteer, meet our President/CEO Herb Johnson, and find out about some exciting new programs here at the Mission..

Sunday, May 8 -  Mother's Day Fun Run
Mission Valley Sunset Rotary will put on their 4th Annual Mother’s Day 5k on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8 benefiting the San Diego Rescue Mission! This is a fun and healthy way to kick-off Mother’s Day for the whole family. Treat Mom to a morning of exercise and beautiful views at De Anza Cove in Mission Bay. This run is great for anyone – from elite runners to casual walkers!

Check in starts at 7 a.m. The 5k begins at 8:30 a.m. The 10k will start at 8:45 a.m.. Lil' Tykes 100m Dash will start at 9:30 a.m.
