Reading the Bible in One Year
Reading
the Bible in One Year
Christians
find instruction, endurance, encouragement and hope through reading and
meditating on Scripture (Romans 15:4). Many enjoy a regular diet of God’s Word
through a daily reading plan enabling them to read the Bible in one year.
Ninety-four percent of NAE members who answered the fall member poll said they
have read the Bible in one year.
There
are many online guides available for download from The Navigators, Bible
Gateway, Crossway, Biblica, Ligonier Ministries, The Gospel Coalition, and
others. YouVersion, the Bible app, also offers several reading plans for mobile
devices.
The
NAE’s Thru the Bible Reading Guide offers a list of daily Scripture readings in
general chronological order with Psalms on Sunday. This handy pamphlet fits in
even the smallest Bibles. The 2015 guides are available in packages of 50, 250
or 500. Order some for your church, stocking stuffers or Christmas cards at www.nae.net/shoppingcart.
