"Jazz in the Courtyard" - August 23, 2014

First Presbyterian Church Presents Our Fourth Annual "Jazz in the Courtyard" Concert is Saturday evening August 23 4:30pm-8:30pm. Look who's coming, better still...plan to hear who's coming:  Archie and the Archtones, with special guest Aubrey Fay will lead us off  This time with Aubrey Fay joining the trio. We've heard them together at Vespers and it was special. It will be special again at the Concert. The Rob Thorson Trio  provides the center of the evening.  Rob also has been at Vespers. His sound is strong and will carry us well at the heart of the concert. Curtis Taylor  who lately has been tearing up San Diego since moving here recently,   will complete the evening with his own quartet newly formed and fresh with great sounds. Tickets can be purchased at the welcome center between services on Sunday, at the Jazz Vespers on Saturday night, or at the church office Monday-Friday 9am-4pm -  they are $15 each.
