“Thank You for Thanksgiving”

Many thanks go to the dozens of volunteers who helped serve the Annual Thanksgiving Meal at Christ Church. Over 150 meals were distributed, including many to homeless San Diegans.

A special thanks goes to Rick Hackley and his volunteers who prepared the turkeys, and the volunteers who answered the Craigslist ad calling for helpers. The planning committee included: Jeannetta Kramer, Kai Lombard, Nora Reyes, Linda Di Giorgio, Annette Dunbar, David Stump, Henrietta Staley, Ted Ewing, and Rick Hackley.

“Toys for Tots”
Christ Church will participate in “Toys For Tots” gift giving again this year. Our Toys for Tots will occur on Monday December 10 at 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary. We have it on good authority Old Saint Nick himself will be present. For more information on giving and receiving toys, please call the church office, (619) 284-9205.

The tempo is picking up. In all the wonderful events of the season, remember to keep Christ in your Christmas!

May God bless us, one and all, Brother Bill
