USA (MNN) -- Open Doors USA and Gateways to Better Education are teaming up to sponsor Religious Freedom Sunday. The event will be this weekend, January 15, in honor of the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom in 1786, which cleared the way for the First Amendment to the US Constitution -- guaranteeing religious freedom in the USA. Open Doors president and CEO Carl Moeller hopes Christians will learn more about their religious freedoms so they can advocate on behalf of those who share our faith but not our freedom.
