Church to host e-waste collection on Saturday

CHULA VISTA — St. Pius X Catholic Church in Chula Vista is holding a free electronic-waste collection event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. It will be at the church’s parking lot, 1120 Cuyamaca Ave., near the intersection of Naples Street and Hilltop Drive.
Accepted items include computers, TVs, printers, phones and automotive batteries. Organizers won’t take large appliances, household batteries or light bulbs.
The event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council and supported by Electronic Waste Recycling.
