"Christ the King Sunday" at Plymouth Church

The Sermon is titled, "God Believes In Us" and is based on Luke 23:32-43 and Colossians 1:9-14. This is the last Sunday in the church season of Pentecost; the last sermon of the church year. It is called "Christ the King Sunday", although truly every Sunday could be called that in the Christian Faith. Throughout the Pentecost season we have studied the kingdom of God and what it means to live in that kingdom in the light of the resurrection of Christ. Christ is the lord of our lives. Christ is the king. Pentecost is that season of the Christian year which the church sets aside to challenge all believers to grow.

The color, green, -- the color of life and growth-- which has adorned our pulpit and marked our Bible on the altar will change next Sunday-- the first Sunday in Advent. Have we grown? Have these 25 weeks brought about any changes in us?
