STUDENT PREVIOUSLY FACING SIX YEARS IN JUVENILE HALL EARNS TOP TWO PRIZES IN A UCSD MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CLASS.Happy New School Year to you!
Reality Changers is just hours away from beginning its eighth school year with Opening Nights this week in Downtown San Diego (Tuesday), Solana Beach (Wednesday), and City Heights (Thursday). If you know of any good people aspiring to tutor first generation college students, please send them our way!
In the meantime, enjoy this recent article Changing Reality: UCSD Alum Helps Get Inner-City Youth to College which featured one of our star students, Eduardo Corona. Eduardo was facing six years in juvenile hall before Reality Changers offered him the chance to go to college this past summer. Not only did Eduardo make the right choice, he also earned the top two design prizes in his mechanical engineering class at UCSD.
Would you like Eduardo and the rest of the Reality Changers to share their stories with your business, social club, or church group? Please call me to arrange for an appearance. The more that these students share their stories, the more that they start to believe that they will indeed become first generation college students who follow God's word.
Thank you for your continued support,
