A female photographer reimagines women of the Bible

When the United States launched an invasion of Afghanistan 20 years ago, one of its first missions was to free Heather Mercer, a young American woman held hostage by the Taliban. But in the intervening years, Mercer tells CT, God has given her a bigger story.
