If you haven’t seen the magnificent interior of the Balboa Theater – here’s your chance to see it without buying a ticket. Just come to the Balboa Theater on 10/10/10 @ 10AM for the 10th year anniversary of Harbor Presbyterian Church a church that has grown to nine sites in ten years!
Visitors are welcome.
Harbor Church started in 2000 with a few people in Pastor Kaufmann’s condo at City Front Terrace and now has nine sites: Downtown, Uptown, Ocean Beach, Carlsbad, Mira Mesa, Chula Vista, Mid-City, Carmel Valley and La Jolla-UTC with two more sites expected soon. Come and see how Harbor does church! Children under 12 will have their own program in the Lyceum Theater, just 50 yards away, including group singing of songs from “Seeds Family Worship”.
Built in 1924, the historic Balboa Theatre was an elegant vaudeville and movie palace in the heart of downtown San Diego. The City of San Diego's Redevelopment Agency has invested over $26 million into the Balboa Theater's renovation and restoration.
Balboa Theater is at 4th Ave. and E Street. Don't have to feed parking meters on Sunday. Parking is free in Horton Plaza for three hours with a validation. No purchase required!
