Moving Back into our Neighborhoods ~ The Work of the Missional Church

Friday-Saturday, August 21-22, 2009 at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church

The Presbytery of the PCUSA in San Diego is planning a major consultation for August 21-22 that is being called Moving Back Into the Neighborhood.

Rev. Dr. Alan Roxburgh from Allelon and Rev. Dr. Mark Lau Branson (Mark Branson’s Blog) from Fuller Seminary will lead this event.

This consultation will involve some presentation, but will have a lot of time for discussion, interaction, and concrete planning for each congregation. Each team will walk away with some specific next steps that they can take to try some missional experiments that make sense for your church and your neighborhood. This will be beneficial for any size church in any community. This is open to non-Presbyterians as well, so feel free to invite friends you have who attend other churches. We are hoping to impact the larger Imperial and San Diego county areas.
