On Tuesday, February 17, 2009 the San Diego Presbytery voted to commission Marc Pena as a Lay Pastor for the Trinity Life Fellowship new church plant in Chula Vista/South Bay and on Saturday, February 21 at a meeting in Los Angeles of the synod’s Committee on Cross Presbytery Ministries a grant request for funding for the Trinity Life Fellowship new church plant was considered and after some discussion, the committee voted to approve the grant request. We are grateful to God to be able to receive this funding in these tough economic times, and believe that God will do some important ministry through this new venture.
