Howdy, friend and fan! Well, this week's entertainment will be quite different from the norm! I will be leading worship with my best friend Terry Randall at the E St Cafe in Encinitas this coming Sunday night. Terry is the former worship leader at my church, North Park Christian Fellowship, and we've been friends since 1978. Terry and I have a duet of contemporary Christian worship tunes that he leads in a duet format- two acoustic guitars and two voices. It's quite different than what I normally bring to the stage at my coffeeshop and concert dates- but on Sunday nights the E St Cafe is devoted to Christian music, and this would be an appropriate environment for our duet.
So, come on out and experience something really different. It won't be hands raised in the air or folks speaking in tongues (at least I don't THINK it will be), just a few folks sharing some faith-based topical and worship songs. I don't know what our times will be, but we've been given a 30-45" set and will be sharing the night with other guests TBA. Here's hoping 2CU there...!
