The North Park Farmers Market, hosted by North Park Main Street, will have its Grand Opening on Thursday, July 19th from 3pm to sunset. The Farmers Market can be found at the new location in the southwest portion of the CVS parking lot at North Park Way and Herman Street. As a "Certified Farmers Market", fresh produce grown in San Diego County will be available to market shoppers.VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!!
Planning for the market is well under way, but North Park Main Street needs your help!
In the next two weeks leading up to the Farmers Market Grand Opening,
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP:
1 - Paint Parking Directional Signs to assist with traffic control
(supplies at the NPMS Office).
Needs to be completed by July 13.
2 - Hang Posters in Neighboring Communities
(i.e. Kensington, South Park, Golden Hill, University Heights, etc.).
This job is ongoing, posters can be picked up at the NPMS Office.
3076 University Ave from 9am-5pm Mon-Fri.
3 - Assist Market Manager with setup/breakdown activities each Thursday
(table setup, sign placement, parking directional assistance).
Volunteers will be needed from Noon-4pm or 4pm-8pm each Thursday.
4 - Spread the word! Tell your friends and neighbors about the new Farmers
Market in North Park.
