How Muslims Compare With Other Religious Americans
Although Muslims constitute a small minority in the U.S., they share many similarities with other American religious groups. A new survey analysis shows that in the intensity of their religious identity, Muslim Americans are not unlike white evangelicals. Politically, however, Muslim Americans are far more liberal than evangelicals and closely resemble seculars and black Protestants.
