A new Pew Research
report on the attitudes, experiences and values of LGBT Americans finds that
religion is a difficult terrain for many. One-third of religiously affiliated
LGBT adults say there is a conflict between their religious beliefs and their
sexual orientation. And most LGBT Americans see at least one religious
institution as unfriendly toward them. The report is part of a larger Pew Research series on LGBT in changing
times.
