RELIGION IN US PRISONS

An article explores a recent Pew Forum report, Religion in Prisons: A 50-State Survey of Prison Chaplains, that surveyed professional prison chaplains. Among the study's findings, 57% of chaplains surveyed say that extreme religious views are somewhat or very common among Muslim inmates; 39% say this about inmates who practice pagan or earth-based religions.
