and climate change: A matter of faith?
Over the past 24 hours Donald Trump and his perceived indifference to
environmental concerns have been the object of stern rebukes from both
the Dalai Lama and the pope. Their reprimands will be taken seriously.
But because the pronouncements pertain to worldly
affairs, some will query whether they are binding on the faithful. Is
the fate of the earth a practical matter or a doctrinal one?
